Watercolors


More of Paper Whimsy's images. These are called "Sandies", which are vintage images that have had the background removed (or sanded off). The idea is you can 'fill in' with whatever media suits you....here, I used watercolor pencils, and highlighted with gel markers. Lots of possibilities, no?

What calls to you? What is your personal philosophy? What comforts you? These necklaces were borne of my desire to create a piece of jewelry that is, well, more than jewelry. A personal, meaningful touchstone... This one is The Earth, and includes a found and altered washer, a river stone, a long wooden bead, and a natural pearl and crystal dangle. Other themes include: Faith, Music, Dance, Travel, The Sea, Flight, Dream, Believe, Love, Peace and many more! I've recently been making custom Talisman necklaces--if you tell me a little about you, I can create a piece of jewelry that is as unique as you are!
